Liposuction
is a surgical technique that is used to contour, sculpt,
and remove excess, unwanted fatty deposits from specific
areas such as the abdomen, waist, flanks, bra roll, back,
hips, thighs, knees, upper arms, chin and neck. It is also
referred to as lipoplasty, liposculpture, and microliposuction.
Liposuction is not a means for weight loss. Small incisions,
usually 3 mm in length, are made in inconspicuous areas
and the excess fat is removed with a hollow cannula.
You will be wearing compression garments over the treated
areas to minimize any bruising and minimize swelling. The
compression garments should be worn continuously from 2
to 4 weeks depending on amount of swelling.
The kind of anesthesia used in this process will depend
on the volume of area to treat.
Expected resutls are excess fat and skin will be removed
and the abdominal muscles tightened, leaving you with a
flatter abdomen and enhanced figure to hold these good results
a healthy life is recommended.
